North East Ricoland
Stopped in by one o the "local" Aprilia dealers on the way back up to Ricoland just before Crimbo there. Just fur a wee news aboot the new V4 T.
The sales mannie emailed me back an offer :
"As per our conversation in the showroom earlier, the standard bike will have an introductory retail at £10,495 + OTR DVLA Charges (£125), and the "R" version with ABS & Traction Control at an introductory £11,495 + OTR DVLA Charges (£125). These prices are there or thereabouts, there could be a couple of hundred pounds difference on release.
A "Factory" version is pencilled in for release in December 2011/Spring 2012.
I will let you know of final specifications on the V4 Tuono & V4 Tuono "R" as I receive them.
I can see this bike flying out the door with the introductory prices as they will go up very soon after release. Orders placed early will secure the initial released price.
Seems the hype aboot ah that fancy electronics bein included as standard mibbe isnae quite as the press wid hae us believe. Note absence o antiwheelie control in R fur example.
