On the display on the dashboard? Typically they are 0.5v, or so, too low. My dash shows something similar and my battery is only a few weeks old.
Use a voltmeter across terminals to check real voltage.

I have not got mine with me today but pretty sure that is not abnormal. AFAIK they all read at least 0.5V too low on gen 1 bikes. Have you measured the battery voltage properly?
Are you talking about the displayed voltage with ignition on but engine not started?

Yes, the displayed "v batt" without the engine running, just checked the battery and it's showing 12.94v when measured directly across the terminals. Looks like they put a ytx12bs in there, the tight fisted f***ers, think I'll change it for an oddyssey over the winter if the sprag survives that long.....
