I’ve ridden aprilia now for the last eight years and enjoyed every second of it but my biking is moving away from short to mid distance and from solo to two up riding so I’m looking at an adventure tourer. The last four outings on the T added up to 7700 miles, that’s a lot of fuel, tyres and chain lube. :crazy

Anyhow, if I don’t get what I want with a p/x deal this weekend I’ll offer the bike for sale here and other places, if anyone is interested now please pm me and I’ll let you have my mobile number so we can talk about a deal. Thank you.

Details are;

October 2009 Tuono Factory (Black Dream)

10,400 miles

Extras
Evo clutch slave
Pazzo levers
Carbon oil/water tank covers
R&G all round
Vetura Rack (no bag)
Larger Screen (original included)
Larger Seat with grab handles
(original pillion seat and cowl included)
Gold Alloy caps an all reservoirs (originals included)
Home made rad gaurds
Head lamp protectors

Changes
Wheels powder coated red.
Cans swapped for the type with a spout outlet (original were cored and sold)
15/42 gearing (originals 16/40 included)

I would like £7k but I’m a realistic person so would consider any reasonable offer but please do not insult me.. cos I know all ape riders are tight twats :no :lol

Chain and sprockets are good for another 5k miles or more Tyres will need changing shortly. Serviced with mid term oil change. Taxed til march 2012.

Is that it? Think so, anyway you can ask questions if you want to.

Cheers for looking

BTW I know I only have a few posts on here but I was a member on the old site and am a memebr on the AF1 site with over 4000 posts since 2005.

The photo is with my youngest daughter, my eldest also likes to ride pillion and the new lady in my life wants to ride more as well, hense the change in direction.

lovely bike mate and gl with the sale .. i think given the price though i would look at having fresh hoops on there !!

Looks stunning :thumbup

Thank you. It is a stunning bike, looks and performace but over the last year or so my biking has and still is changing direction and the miles I intend to do next year and through winter would be expensive on the T and ruin it's value.

Cheers lads. Thought about a capo, had one a few years back as well as the T but things have moved on for me and the economy doesn't allow me to have two bikes. Anyhow, I'm test riding a 8V Stelvio today, been offered a great deal, all I have to do now is ride the guzzi to see if I like the feel. Read everything there is on the bike and on paper it ticks all the boxes, hopefully my experience, nearly 40 years, and youthfull hooliganess will allow me to take a few scalps on the twisties..

I'll report back later once I've ridden the beasty thing..

BTW no bm gs for me... italian if I can find the right ride.

Deal done. Tuono goes on Thursday...

Hey Martin, been a while!

Sad to hear it's going/gone mate but I can understand your reasoning. I've got a very strong desire for a KTM 950/990 SM but want to keep the Tuono as I've modified it a tad and love it, so still trying to figure out how to get one! :rolleyes

:cheers
