Hi has anyone fitted Michelin road pilot 2's to there tuono, I had them on the TL and they were great for the road , sticky and hard wearing.
I currently have Conti sport attacks on and don't really rate them.

Cheers

Run 2CT on my Mille. Had them on my TLS too.

******* great.

Getting new ones in the morning. £230 fitted at Essentail Rubber N1 London.

Depends on what kind of riding you intend doing?

I have just fitted Michelin road pilot 2's for my trip to France, super Corsa would be a waste and not last the distance. However Michelin road pilot 2's would not be my choice for a track day at Donnington.

hi,i've just put a pilot power 2 ct on the back of my zx 7r and will deff put on the tuono over the winter when i change the tyres. At present there is a supercorsa 3 sc1 front and rennsport rear and they are superb as long as the weather is warm and the road dry,but i found they cooled and became slippy if the road got wet at all

Missile let me know how you get on, wind it up and report on straight line stability and mileage please. I realise these are not track tyres but for the road they seem to be tops. They are so planted in the wet not like the sport tyres. Would just like to know if they suit the Tuono before I buy some

I have had them on for two weeks. They work pretty well in all conditions. Very stable in a straight line, turn in well, hold my chosen line, grip is better than a cling on in the wet. I have zero chicken strips, so whilst the ultimate grip may not be as good as race replica rubber, the grip in the corners is acceptable for me on the road.

I am on the ferry to France this afternoon, will give you a note of the milleage when I get back. Do you want photos?

I'm running 021 "Stones." They work very well. I have a 190/50 on the rear and the chicken strip is a ragged 1/4". The front strip is very small as well. This is all street riding. I really like them.:cheers

Hi all, got a pair of 2CT's on the factory. Will be replacing them like for like.

I have Pilot Power 2CT's on mine, just back from France, ~2500 miles in all conditions, no problems with the tyres.

Paul are these the tyres you have fitted

Do you give them a really hard time and still get 4-5k mile out of them ?

if so these are what I could be looking for

Yup.

Last set did a tour to the Alps, and 4 trackdays plus normal riding around. I dont ride balls out everywhere, but I don't hang about either.

A mixture of some boring motorway, nice twisty sections, some rain and lots of sunshine. The tyres did everything I wanted. 2,000 + miles and the tyres look fine for another 2,000. I am off to Germany next week. My buddy had some Bridgestone B14s on and they were well squared off.

A bit like buses. Never see one then two come along at once>

Just done 1000 miles French trip on brand new Power 2CT's and they were great for fast road riding and wearing down the centre minimal due to the harder compound. Would deff recommend
