tyres

I bought my last set cause I liked the tread pattern.....dam I'm cool!

All I can add to this is don't go and buy a set cause they're 2 seconds faster and sticky as a sticky thing on the track. On the road they'll NEVER get to their correct operating temperatures - no matter how much of a God you think you are - stop at a set of traffic lights and you might as well put 'em in a fridge.

In a tyres world, temperature is everything...

I do a lot of highway miles, so I will most likely go with either the road 2's or the roadsmarts. plenty sticky for anyone here and a harder middle for a ton more miles.

If I wanted or felt the need for a high performance tire with less miles, I would go with the new q2's

An excellent point indeed mate. I have 2 pairs of Supercoras (new pattern) that will end up on Ebay this year as the trackdays i was planning i won't be doing any more.

THe best rubber i had for warming up and feeling right was a set of Pirelli Scorpion Sync. They were warm before getting off the drive. THe ability to nail it early on was superb.
