Fookin ell lads, we need to be careful.

If Pikey sees this thread it will still be going when hover bikes hit the dealers........

got a price of £200 fitted for a pair of Metzeler M3s, although i'm sure he said MC3s on the phone but i've asked Uncle Google and he's never heard of MC3s.
I'm off to somewhere else tomorrow to see what they have.

Just enjoying the irony, berate me for indecision then demonstrate indecision, anyway i have bridgestone 023's on mine, happy to report once i have put a few more miles on them.

Guys! New Dunlop Sportsmart are unbeatable. Voted best tyre by MCN, Fast bike and many others.........not cheap but the best for fast road and occasional track.

I have used them all and can confirm that these tyres are in a totally different league!!!

Got to agree with you , got em on mine and and they are foooookin great :thumbup

road 3's

Maxxis are *****............:no
no feel when cauld, and wear too fast on the rear, and the sport tour option is like riding on ice permenantly!!!

I'm stickin tae pilots, road 2s got me round the ring following much better equiped bikes with nae probs and 5000 from a rear was fine in my book.

Just fitted a new road 3 and its feckin magic!! :yes
Went tae Scaberdeen last week at 5 degrees in the damp and was canning it all the way, best feeling rear i've used in normal conditions.

Well Michelin 2 CTs are great tyres but I'm going to change and stick on these:-

Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact's

have gone for the M3s, with a 180/55.
Found a great review here on ten tyres. My local shop had Pirelli Angel STs for £260 and the M3s for £200. Figured i'll try the M3s seen as i'm up, or possibly down, at the plodder end of the spectrum.

Will report back after i have bedded them in and given them a good run.

Rusty76, where did you get them from, I will need some soon and was thinking about Power Pures.

£171 with carriage Hector and by the time i have arranged the Mrs to give me a lift to the shop with the tyres and paid for fitting I may as well just go for the £200 all in. Plus I have asked them to do a few bits while they have it in there and i know they'll look more kindly on the bill if i have got the tyres from them.
