My bikes a 2000 model non r version and currently has a 190 rear tyre on it, but no hugger, and after reading previous posts, was wondering if anyone knew if i can keep a 190 tyre and get a carbon fibre hugger to fit without worrying about it fouling my tyre or hugger.

I have been using pirelli super corsa comp 2 on another bike and in the dry find these tyres are amazing for fast road work.

Anyone got any other recommendations for other tyres, or will i still be happy fitting sc2's again?

Price isn't important, but grip and confidence is to me.:doug

Hi Beanie......

I have a 2000 model with standard hugger fitted and run a 190/55 rear which DOES foul the hugger. Standard 190/50 was fine. It has only rubbed a little away from the "vent" type hole/slash on the hugger itself. Now that it's ground away, they fit fine......:thumbup

Forgot to add Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's......simply awesome tyres.....wet/dry....it makes no odds....they're magic!!!!

Next time around Beanie you may wanna go with the 180/55, it's lighter and looks just as wide as a 190 on this size rim.
