Tyre pressure

Funny how everyones running different pressures huh. I just run with what the guy put in when he changed them.

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

feckin brilliant. :yes

you do realise bike tyres lose a tiny bit on every corner, every time you brake, every time you accelerate.

check them regularly

Running 33 front - 36 rear and have done for years the 36 front and 41 rear is for two up as I understand it
and to back me up my t has a sticker to say so!

Actually bat all I meant was that I kept the pressures thT the guy put in

Bay min...ah def widnae go wi that hypothesis.....ah once had tyres changed an thought it wiz hell o a bouncy oan the way hame....friggin **** had pit aboot 48psi ( no shittin either) in the rear an aboot 40 in the front!!!! Ah called them tae tell them a thocht their gauge wiz oot an the boy telt us that he must have forgot tae check efter over blawn them up tae get the bead popped oan the rims....

......jist goes tae show ye cannae trust even the so called experts!

Here's a good one, Any ideas?

Got a T2, In the scroll down menu there's settings for tyres, front/rear temp & pressure then another submenu with suspension settings set up - front rear soft med hard.
whats that all about theres nothing about it in the manual when I asked the guy at the dealership he just mumbled something about the mille thou then fooked off back into his workshop.

..totally unnecessary pish if ye ask me an could ye actually be ersed trawlin thru a menu tae find the numbers......ah jist scribble **** like that ah cannae remember on the back o the garage door!

lol..a few years back I had some new 010's fitted.....expecting grippy as fook....went into a roundabout, and the back end stepped out about 6"....just put it down to new unscrubbed tyres....next roundabout it was worse....scared the **** out of me....to this day, I really don't know why I stopped to check the pressures...but was slightly amazed to find 65psi...Tyre shop didn't want to know when I complained....I fit my own now....

30-36 for me, i prefer a slightly softer front tyre, too much in the front and it all gets a bit "flighty" for me !!

My bike will be going to Griffs soon ... and tyre pressure / suspension is on my mind as the front feels far too "chattery" ... if that's a word ... it seems not to be properly stuck to the road anyway

Griff carries out suspension set up as part of a full service. He's even volunteered to come out to me and have a look at the set up non my T as I'm not entirely happy with it. Holding a high speed line on a fast sweeper at anything over 90 is not easy she still wants to dip in so constantly needing to compensate. Feels like it needs stiffening up a tad or an old school adjustable damper.

Chattery front end sounds like could be bearings or dare I say it too much air in the front tyre.

Sownds like not enuff priload of the spring on the rear shock , iff its chopping arownd on the frunt end , have you had your sags sorted out .

Road 38 rear 34 frunt , why les wate on the bike with race cans ,tiers warm up quicker on kool days on the road .

Track 30 frunt 30 rear ,May to Aurgust , 33 rear 31 frunt. september to november , and running softer saspenshon settings as well for the track .
