West Cumbria Marra!
Didn't get the opportunity to say hi to the fellow T owner & t-zone member today at Keswick, as only saw this black T as we were leaving. Good scran at this cafe. Sunshine & warmth in October? In the lakes?

ash its just when i went out on sunday it was misty till got to the top of clee hill sun was luvly but then my clocks misted real bad :eek i thought i had it sorted with tifa's fix :no :banghead

Misting clocks are a total pain in the arse. I was going to to kake 2 small holes at the bottom of the clocks, 1 either side to let air circulate. I'm sure I heard that was a good fix, but we've heard so many fixes that aren't.

Hey guys, whats with all the steamy talk.
? T clocks steam up! Fact, ain't the end of the world, its a charactertistic (ask the numptys at J&L at Carlisle!). Anyway, tried a few different things, read a few different things then thought 'ah bollox to it', so what I'm trying to say is enjoy the bike for all its strengths & its flaws......be at peace with your bike and enjoy the ride!

do you think that misting clocks can be used as an excuse for speeding 'sorry officer i couldnt see what speed i was doing as my clocks are misted up' :lol

You're spot on when you say you can't get a perfect fix for fogging clocks.
The main thing to be aware of is persistent moisture build up. You'll reach the stage where too much moisture will cause the pcb to.short out.
When this happens, all sort of strange stuff starts, the main one being indicators switching themselves on without warning, or you not being able to cancel indicators. Second to this is reverse flashing, this is where when you switch the ignition off, the tacho tries to go backwards, every three or four seconds, alternating woth the display reading OOOO. The bike will still run ok, but the battery will run down over a couple.of days.

Yeh, was thinking the same - long term it may cause errors.....mine 2.5 years old now, and fogs up occasionally. Maybe the answer is - over winter is to fit some sort of heat sink under the clocks? To keep moisture out, specially as the days get cooler? Dunno if thats something to consider, certainly taking the clocks to bits can cause all sorts of woes if you get it wrong & wreck the electro-mechanical guts of the clocks. As for speed awareness, the T tells you how fast your going - if you're at peace with your T that is :yin-yang
