Hello!

My windscreen bottom screw and the place where the screw fits are broken and it's only held on from the top corners. is it safe to ride? or is it better to remove it completely?

I have bought the MRA touring windscreen and its missing the rubber fittings so that is wasted. I guess I have bad luck :p

You can get rubber fitting sets with color matched screw's on eBay. Sounds like best option is to replace old screen but if lower fairing screen point also broken you should fix up a repair using a plastic repair kit.

Fairings on Tuonos were designed to help keep front wheel on the ground due to downforce and improve stability, so watch that if you take it off.

PS: You've got a V4 which proves your lucks pretty good, all things considered:thumbup

There is only one screw on the V4 at the bottom of the screen.

The top clips in behind the fairing.

If you ride it without the bottom secured there is a good chance that wind blast will get underneath the screen and rip it off.

What exactly is broken?

Could you get a new rubber wellnut and re secure it?

I had my friend help me install the MRA touring screen with his spare rubber fittings. So all is well now. I just hope the fittings are strong because the screen kind of wobbles back and forth. Maybe I am just being paranoid.
