Youll have no rear brake, youll spend most of your time on the rear wheel.. its all good!!

Agree with Blackwolf .... you'll learn to look round the front wheel a lot lol .... Oh and he wasnt joking about the rear brake :)
Never buy anything other than a Yuasa battery (YTX14BS)
Have a good look through the modifications bit on here .. all really useful

Oh yeah .... and expect the biggest permanent grin you've ever had ... Enjoy ...

Fantastic bikes Kev Min...and dinnae believe some o the "horror" stories frae folk whos never owned an Aprilia will tell ye. Build quality is pretty good an the engines gearbox etc are bullit proof. They jist need a bit mair regular TLC than yer usual Jap bikey.

Check oot the radiator hose clips and replace with Jubilee screw types as they have been known to fail an pish hot juice ower yer Adidas Sambas.

Check the brown connector lurking behind the coolant rservoir bottle, they can corrode or have been also known to melt due to crappy workmanship causing the terminals to overheat. Pretty rare occurance tho despite awe the hype. If it looks fine just clean and grease up wi proper electric grease ( Ah used petroleum jelly and its still as good to go a couple o years later)

Learn tae check the oil level correctly, as it is too easy to over fill it.

The pish rear brake is a cross tae bear, an either ye can live wi it, as ah do, or go the whole hog an fit rear sets, which shifts the master cylnder tae the vertical (where it wiz designed tae work) instead o the horizontal.

Theres a few "how to" threads oan here somewhere wi mair info.

Enjoy yer T

TAxiTom min....thats jist the price tae pay fur so much ridin enjoyment.......nae bad price IMHO

If your looking for a set of aftermarket cans, get a set of tatannium mivvs they look & sound great are nice & short so don't look like a couple of cannons on either side of youtr bike & aree very reasonably priced. I just paid £525.00 They're also not as common as akras or arrows.

The bike is like drugs & alcohol, once you tried it, there's no going back. Addictive - oh yes
