I'm good, ta for asking...you?

My pride and joy got blown over up at the Pondo....so much for the eurostands eh?
Total piece of poo.

I've noticed that if you put your foot to the inside of the stand (with it down) and take the weight of the bike off the stand, you can take up the play in the mounting (the stand moves outwards slightly) leaving the bike leaning over a little bit more. The bike seems more "planted" this way; try it, what do you think?

When i put my s/stand out , I always pull on the L/H grip and it moves and settles the bike down a bit better. I always check if there's a wind blowing and the angle of the surface etc "Bloody Paranoid"

yeah you mean hook your foot round and pull the stand hard outwards taking up any slack before putting the bike onto it.. i've resorted to doing this recently, it was actually a friend of mine that picked up on it

I always pack a wind vane, spirit level, theodolite and take a surveyor with me on any Tuono trip. I send the surveyor into the car park first. They come back with a report which I carefully analyse. I then plan my approach into the car park to the selected parking location ........... Nah not really, I use an American sidestand :)

Glad you sorted your bike kriton. I dropped a Fazer 1000 once because of sidestand issues.

I got off one of my bikes years ago without even putting the stand down, I was like a spent carteridge ejecting out of a Winchester Rifle

I parked up at a petrol once and not really thinking put my front wheel at the edge of a drain cover . As I was waiting to pay I watched the (I had a Fazer1000 then too)bike ever so slowly roll forward and off its stand ......I always watch where I park and put it in gear since then
