Ok then guys was out with Stix yesterday and noticed how much lower the bars are on the Racing Version compared to Stix's bike. The top yokes are the same etc, the bars are the same the only difference being the Ohlins Suspension set up on the racing is shorter. Could this be due to the springs in there.

The rear end of my bike is a few cm higher than Stix's, in total giving it much more of a leaned forward position.

I rode Gilo's Gen 2 and noticed how much higher that felt than mine at the front and has a more relaxed riding position but just put it down to different Gen bike but when Stix's and mine were parked next to each others yesterday it was quite evident (as seen in the pics Wet and Wonderful I posted yesterday). Its not an uncomfortable ride at all and doesn't give me neck ache or wrist ache like the other bikes I've owned.

Stix's forks had 4 rings showing at the top and mine only 3 so his has been dropped further down the forks than mine but mines still lower.

Just curious guys. Come on Nob, Batfastard can you enlighten me.

Only a guess mate but i'd just presume the racing has physically shorter forks (shorter body same travel) to put more weight over the front due to its track bias.

Looks to be more travel in the forks on Stix's bike so just wondering if theres a different spring in there (stiffer). its just unusual thats all as the Factory Gen 2's don't seem smaller than the R's.

Might be the previous owner changed the springs or summat.

The Ohlins on the racing are both softer than the the sachs/showa stuff on the R models.
If yours is lower it might be springs etc, some people like to jack the arse end up on Tuoldo's, the previous owner might have had it adjusted this way.

A mate of mine, Mel has a racing, and my old Tuoldo was pretty much the same dimensions as his.

BF have a look at my thread Wet and Wonderful and look at the 4th Picture down theres a heck of a size difference. Stix's bike looks physically bigger and the road was flat. I agree the rear end is higher by about 2cm but surely it wouldn't make that much difference at the front.
