The Suzuki Gladius is not a glamourous motorcycle. Destined to fill the market below the SV650 (we didn’t know there was a market below the SV650), the Gladius is a no thrills starter bike that you’ve probably already forgot existed. Luckily L-R-G, the makers of the see-through wheeled Hayabusa (seen in the background), have given the Gladius the supermoto treatment with stunning affect.

L-R-G has done up the Gladius in their now seemingly*trademark*white and aquamarine paint job. Taking off the usual offending stock pieces like the rearsets and*fenders, L-R-G has added its own MX fender, a RM-Z front end, modified swingarm, Excel wheels, and LeoVince exhaust. At quick glance, the Trellis frame really stands out with the new paint, but we’re not sure if the gold accents on the hubs, calipers, and engine casings really work with the rest of the bikes design. Seeing as how the “bling-bling” gold also seems to be an integral part of the L-R-G treatment, we doubt it will go away anytime soon. Still at the end of the day, we’d be way more inclined to ride this Gladius around the block than the stock Suzuki version. Well done. L-R-G.
