T's get faster when not riden.!

Dry roads today in sunny but cold Mablethorpe. Got the old girl out, up road for fresh tank of fuel, then of for a blast round the counry roads. I haven't riden her since October last year, fookin hell she feels like she's got faster over the winter. I know thats just because I had forgot about the brutal power delivery and huge torque...Mint...Roll on warmer weather. Anyone else had chance for a ride today ?. fD

I went out on the old Dominator, bit fresh after half an hour.

There is still loads of salt on the roads around here.

Missing my T now, remember that feeling well and the weather aint too bad down here. Last nites alcohol excesses have left me with the shakes, not a good combination:crazy

Ye managed a run round the hills near me today great weather and my new Keiss heated inner gloves stopped my fingers fallin off :thumbup

Olaf, the roads were crap, loads of salt and grit, the back end went a bit south at one point on the crap, slow bend but still a bit scary... Loved to get out again though.

oot yesterday ur a bit on the Capo but made a hasty retreat hame when the snaw started dingin doon!

90 miles over to Wales and back this afternoon. Seemed quite warm in the house with the sum streaming in, bleedin' cold out on the bike though. All went well until 1/2 a mile from home when I chucked it into a sharp left turn a bit enthusiastically and felt the front step out. Sphincter going like a rabbits nose, but I made it home in one piece :thumbup

Same thoughts went through my head when I went out last week. forget how awesome power delivery is through the first four gears. Took Fireblade out today different fish put pulls 140 much easier.

Yeah, went out for a few hours with a mate (KTM sm 950). Hartlepool down to helmsley, stopped for a cuppa to warm the pinkies then on to Pickering. Then over to Whitby via fylingdales. Nice and sunny, dry roads, mostly. Another cuppa at the Whistlestop cafe then home. A BIG slide coming of a roundabout near redcar, proper sideways, bars waggling, the lot! Probably only a little bit out of line but it felt a lot worse! mate behind had the same! Must have been something on the road. Apart from that it was a good day out. Should get my pants back from the cleaners on Wednesday! Oh and my speedo stopped working as well. Cleaned the sensor and disc bolts to no avail. Gonna try a mates sensor off his Mille.
