Trying to track down a small fairing part for '01 RSV R

Hey. In an epic bout of foolishness yesterday, while I had the fairing off to play with the rear shock, I rode the bike down to Halfords for some bits, got back and realised the small part of the lower fairing that sits behind the exhaust was not actually attached to the frame as I'd assumed, and is now somewhere in a road in town.

It needs replacing obviously as it stops the back part of the fairing hitting the rear wheel.







You can see from the pics, the missing part sits behind the exhaust mounting to the two empty bolt holes in the fairing.

The problem I'm having is it is very difficult to track down a part without a serial number or even really knowing how to describe the part. Ebaying fairings has given me no results.

I'm not that fussed about buying new or second hand, just need to get hold of one. Can anyone help in any way?

quick tip, be very careful when taking the fairing off if the exhaust is hot. This part is often melted due to lack of forethought!!! ask me how I know!! I've bought one of these before lol
