Track day wisdom required

Hi all, thinking to do a couple of track days later this year and looking for a bit of advice, never done a track day before so my questions are, which tyres would you recommend (Bridgestone s20evos on at the moment) tyre pressures and any other top tips you can give would be greatly appreciated.
It's a long long trip from here so would like to be as prepared as possible.
By the way the track dates are, Jamie Whitham at Croft August 17th, and donnington the following day.
Maybe see one or two of you at them?!!

I'm no expert here, but make sure you check the rules of the venue. e.g. Tape over speedo, remove mirrors, full zip if 2 piece leathers, exhaust meets sound limits, etc. But you probably knew that!

Re. Tyres. What you have is probably fine... but make sure you have a spare rear tyre for after!! Judging by the way mine wears (any brand) on normal road use, I can imagine any T will eat them racing!

Cheers for that, I see the noise limit for Donington is 108db, I'm assuming that the V4 with an Akraprovik end can wont be anywhere near that.
Probably fit a new tire before heading down and hope it lasts the 2 days!!!
Maybe even take the old one with me as a spare as I don't suppose it'll be to worn (if I can behave that long, new tire required very very soon!!)
