Afternoon all. As per title, what tyre pressures do you boys run front & back on the T for track day usage?

Robbo :thumbup

Tyre block at bedford autodrome set mine at 35/30 when I asked, which seemed to work well enough to banish the remaining chicken strip and turn most of the tread into tiny little rubber balls.

spose we're all different but 35 front seems a bit firm on the front to me, i tend to run around 30/30 or even 30/32 !!

Think I'll make a note of these recomendations.

Fort the record why do you reduce the pressures for track day use. Do you get higher wear the lower the pressure. may help with my normal road use. i usually run 32F 34 rear for road use.

You run lower presher because the tyers get a lot wormer on the track
So the air inside the tyre expands more making more making more presher
If you were to leve your tyers at road presher thay would be over infalated
On trake run because of the exsta heat caused by screeming your bike round a trak

Thats what I thought. what about tyre wear at lower pressures. Do you thinkk 26/28 is too low for a novice as I probably not screaming the bike as much as intermediates or advanced although my tyre edges are well chewed up. Pembrey is pretty much a continuos curve with only one short straight barely get into 5th gear for a second or two maybe?

Tire (sorry TYRE :2finger) pressure has more to do with the tire and the track conditions than the bike.
Some tires like pressures in the teens, some up to 30.
Hot and cold measurements are very different as well.

Every track day I've been to there's been a tire vendor who has recommended starting pressures for various tire brands.

What are you running and where?
