Track day tyre pressures

Hi all, I'm doing a Brands GP circuit track day on 24th and was wondering if anyone knew what tyre pressures are best for my '04? I've had my suspension properley set up so no worries there but no clue on tyres. (I have 2CT's on at the mo) Any other track day tips greatly appreciated too :thumbup

I get on best at 32-32 or 34-34 depending on how hot the day is. You really need to ease into it though, the bike will feel really wierd with cold tyres and then after a couple of laps should feel really planted. I was at Cadwell yesterday, very hot day and was leaving darkies all the way up coppice, eventually dropped the tyre pressure to 30-30 as they were getting very squirmy at the end of each session.

Man tip. Learn the circuit - preferably from someone who genuinely knows it, and concentrate on getting your line correct. Once you are accurate keep it smooth and the speed will come to you.

Bike is an 05 Ohlins rear, re-valved forks and 2CT's

Take it steady, warm your tyres, learn your lines, speed will come with confidence and enjoy it matey.:thumbup

Thanks guys, good advice. I'll start with 32/32 and reduce to 30/30 if its very hot and the bike starts feeling a bit squirmy. Will report back after the event!
