Hello
I was just thinking, which I know is a pretty dangerous thing, but does anyone here use their aprilia for touring, or do you use them just for being hooligans?
If anyone does, how do you find it touring?

nae probs, I toyur and thrash the mille--we go over to europe every year for motogp.
1900 miles covered this year to mugello and back..in the pissing rain(for most of the time. Plenty comfortable, we just stopped every 115 miles to refuel. very comfy, we did 675 miles in one stint, no aches or pains(tho that may be due to the fact I was usung a Kriega rucksack.
 
Went to narbonne,sth of france & spain.No probs at all,just good fun all the time.:thumbup
 
Just got back from a tour, France, Belguim, Luxemburg, and Germany, which included Nurburgring :devious and WSBK's at Magny Cours :thumbup:thumbup. 1600 miles in 4 days, tip top time with no aches or pains :thumbup
 
Took my '06 to the 'Ring' - didn't miss a beat - pissed down all the way there and all the way back.:thumbup
 
I wasn't on an Aprilia (R6) but Sharky rode up on his Mille to Assen GP last year (Northants to Dover, France thru Belgium, thru Holland) without any problems ( apart from the deflating tyre in Belgium that the Belgian Police sorted whilst I was blasting up the road looking for tyre weld!!)...in fact he appeared more comfortable than me...b'stard!!!!
 
have to agree with New boots had no problems what so ever we also done Scotland this year three days 8-900 miles in the pouring rain with out a hitch
 
Fairplay to you boys. My hands go numb and my back screams at me after about an hour. The priller is more uncomfortable than my gixer. I would not use it to tour. Although I am six foot one. May be easier for a shorter rider.

Wouldn't change it for the world tho:thumbup

( although I do like whips and enemas too :scared )

At least when your shorter you dont get wind blasted all the time :thumbup, ive got the higher screen on mine and still get blasted :angry
 
goin out on my own tonight as donna has decided not to go for some reason :confused will be out by 8ish, Why :thumbup
