Can anyone tell me exactly where the tip over switch is on a 2000 RSVR? I ditched it on a roundabout the other week and it didnt trip - but I would like to know where it is in case it gives me any stick in the future. And can I bypass/remove it completely?

Its under the seat on the left hand side I think.

Some people drill a hole in the unit and pump silicon in ti fill it up completely.

Best of leaving it on IMHO, imagine being under the bike with petrol leaking out with the engine turning at 10K...............exactly

I fitted mine upside down which is the same as the bike on its side it runs for a few seconds before cutting out so is a good idea to leave it as it is because if it does happen it will save the engine from blowing up from lack of oil:thumbup
Definately cheaper than a new engine:thumbup
