Hi all,

Dont fint a tip over sensor on the Aprilia RSV -00. Have looked on many pictures on this little box that I found on the Internet and I am almost 99% sure that there are no box like this.

It is possible that some earlier owner have removed it or is the sensor a must in the eletric-system for the bike to start?

take your seat off using the 2 allen head bolts at the back of it. it normally sits on the right hand side (as you sit on the bike), just behind the battery. it is in a rubber holder to mount it to the lug on the undertray. if you remove it and turn it upside down, you will hear it click. it does just plug in, so it could have been removed but the wires would have to be joined for the bike to run.

The tip over sensor is a piece of safety equipment, In the event of a fall it cuts the power to the fuel pump etc so that if you should have an accident the fuel pump etc wont keep running and potentially pump fuel all over the road and or keep the engine running .............................A common mistake is for people to fit them in upside down so that the bike wont start, for your safety and other road users get one fitted.
