I an new to the forum and new to Aprilia. I have just replaced the balance shaft gears on my 2001 RSV. Problem is that once back together it only seems to be running on the front cylinder. It is getting fuel, and sparking. I think that when i lined up the balance shaft gears the engine must have been on the wrong stroke. Now the back cylinder must be sparking on the exhaust stroke. Is that possible? If so how do i get the engine onto the correct stroke before lining up the gears? Cant wait to get the bike back out. Any and all help gratefully received by this slightly baffled novice!
