They get v-good reports. Will be interesting to hear how you like them after you've run them in and burnt some rubber!

well I hope they are better than the PR3s mate, got them on my SMT at present and I aint impressed

Ive started running the Metzler M7rr and Im very impressed with them. Im not a fan of mitchelin seem to wear funny

+1 for the m7rr I've done a bit of touring and some scratching on them can fault them, Defo be buying them again

Have PR4's fitted, very pleased with them. Good for commuting, touring in France (700 miles of mix roads), trackdays - both wet and hot. Had PR3 previously fitted which covered approx 5000 miles of similar, only changed them as went on Frech tour.

Been going on metzelers Z8 and i love em

Great mileage.. Close to 6000 miles and handle great on the road riding

There's no doubt Road Pilots are great touring tyres. They are a harder compound than the Pilot Powers so designed to give extra mileage. But harder tyres aren't so good when scratching hard! Hence 'Knowing how we plan to use the tyre?' is critical to making the right choice.

I got Pilot Power on mine and they work fine when pushed hard but I am quite carefull to get some warm in to them.
I am considering Pirelli Angel st for my next choice...
They work great on my Busa in all weather and give about 7000km and I am on the second rear, but I am not sure how they will work on the Tuono. Any one tried them? It is lighter so they might be too hard..
Done the first 3 Pilot roads and was very happy with 1 and 2 but Pilot Road 3 was bad, but I have heard the PR4 should be great also and especially in wet. Just conserned that it will wear down wird as the 3. So interesting to hear how the experience with these are as they wear down.
