I wonder if any one can when i got the bike at the weekend the throttle was getting stuck.

so i undid the allan bolts and it came unstuck but when i turn the bars left it starts to bring the revs up i have adjusted the cable under the throttle but still does it.

i also find when going into bends it takes a sec or so to get the power down

can any one help

Well first of all you need to make sure the throttle cable is well lubed up:wow And then have a good look to see if the cable is catching anything. I had this problem on my GSXR and it was caused by the bar clamps on the throttle being too far back and when I turned the bars the cable pulled tight and the bugger tried to ride off without me. Not good fun when you got a car in front of you as you exit a roundabout:eek: Try lossening the throttle and rotating it forwards a bit then retightening. This may sort it mate.:thumbup

Have you fixed this yet..?? Cos mine has done exactly this today. Made it a right **** ride back from work today, 100 miles of motorway in the BRRRR cold lashings of wettness...

hi mate yes i did had the tank up and losend the throttle cable abit now everything is running ok.just have to play around till you get it right.

Cool. I will pull her apart wednesday and lube her dry bits and tweak the slack:thumbup
