check out super si on club aprilia hes has made a single sided rsv and it looks even better than that , pics on club aprilia web site

From what I can gather V the swinger is a straight swap, just the shock to sort out. Yagman the one that Si did is a new shape RSV, I saw the swinger on the AF1 site Neil but think $1200 is a bit much by the time you pay import duty and postage.

Neil just looked on the AF1 site and they have a full rear end for $700, will ring them tomorrow for postage costs:doug

Yeah I had a look at that too, I paid 30 quid for a mint RSV swinger, I was expecting to pay not much more for a futura one, tiny bit optimistic i know!

i would say 500 is the goin rate......
!!
nice mod though tash!!

speedo drive is the largest stickin point with that mod!! completely different set up!!

Alright Grifter, i'm also fitting a Translogic dash so I will use the optional speedo sensor for that. Dont suppose you got one of these rear ends lying around:devious

Hey Griff

What else needs doing then, would sprockets etc of the RSV fit straight onto the Futura arm?? Cant you just buy a longer speedo cable?? :thumbup

no the sprocket on the futura swing arm is different by a long way and the wiring is completely different ..the pickup for the speedo sensor an a mille runs off the disc bolts ( dont buy Ti replacements) on a Fut it runs of the rear wheel bearings! doesnt work!!

tash is gonna use an aftermarket dash set up....nice!!

ive seen and been priviledged to ride that bike...well tasty!!

You know what?

I think it's the paint and exhaust which make this bike look so good, the single sided swinging arm is just a nice extra.

I've got to say though, if you're going to spend that kind of money to get an underseat pipe and singkle sided swinger...

..just buy a Ducati!

This bike really reminds me of a cross between 996 and 999.

Always loved the look of single sided swingers. One good thing about the dukes i spose! :bounce
