Thought i would get a few quotes from the bike insurer.com

Fully comp, excess of 150 .......£125 :thumbup :biggrin :thumbup

Thats what i did, well worth doing.

Ended up with motorcycle direct, 12 months £185 fully comp, protected no claims, £50 excess, all legal cover.

Cheap!

Me too,

Bennetts wanted £515 fully comp, Bike insurer only £150 Fully Comp.

You'd think i was a hoolie, but i'm a 38 year old truck driver, 9 years NCB, and clean licence.

They must know you beanie mate you look like a asbo boy and they know how you ride lol how was the trip mate

Motorcycle Direct are part of the Groupama Insurance Co and a desperately trying to write premiums to stay afloat.

My advice is grab a bargain while you can, I got fully comp for £105, no excess and protected NCB. :doug

Just taken out insurance slightly ahead of renewal date to take advantage... accessed quote thru thebikeinsurer.com and the best price was with Motorcycle Direct on a Groupama policy at £125.90 (no excess, european cover, protected NCB, cover for riding other peoples bikes etc.):thumbup:thumbup

Warning system doesnt want to take payment on line and when I first got thru on the phone they tried to claim the quote was an error??? as its 1/2 the price of the next cheapest quote. :devious

However a little persistence and they've processed the application. :biggrin:biggrin

jeeeeezzz that's cheap ! Youngsters like myself pay up to 800 euro's for insurance.. :bawling

Yeah got a renewal pack thru from Bennets saying I didnt need to worry and that theyd be reinsuring me without any further instruction from myself FOR £520 THE CHEEKY B@STARDS :jack:jack once i got up off the floor I remembered this thread and promptly got online for a quote.

NB The Bike Inusrer / Motorcycle Direct sat theres a problem with the website but they must honour the quoted price.... :exclamation:exclamation
Anyone needing insurance over thge next few months should jump on and sort it before they fix the issue - next cheapest quote was £230+

I'm well over 40, no accidents, no convictions (for anything) and ride like my grans on the pillion (well thats what Groupama think) so where Bennetts get £520 from is well beyond me.

Just to brag a little, I pay less than 200eur for the complete registration procedure

ps.. jea its in the eyes :D

:burnoutThanks guys having read the thread just saved £225 by going with motorcycle direct:thumbup one very happy mille owner bennetts will never get my custom again
