Superb weather here today so me and Lucie went to The Victory open day at Arrow Mill, Alcester.

Nice roads ... 175 mile round trip, treated the wee lass to a MacD on the way because I am a high roller me.

But ... we took a Victory Hammer S our for a burl in a pod of 8 other Victorys ... and I have to say (well "sorry" first obviously) but it was bloody good fun!

A 20 min run with some twistys = heels of boots ground down a bit.

A blat up a dual carriageway @ 95 = less wind blast than the T even with no screen.

300kg dry weight and a 250mm rear tyre do make you think about tearing into corners because you can't!

The back brake works ... and you need it!

But most interestingly there was another Tuonewo and 2 x Tuoldos there and swapping notes we all agreed that if we could afford one we'd buy it ... but keep the T.

I firmly believe that if a dealer is willing to let you have a spin then it would be rude not to accept.

Gutted I missed the Ducati RS because I'd love a go on a Diavel and a Fighter.

Oh!

There was a bloke on a Harley dressed from tip to toe in cammo and he was none too pleased when me and Lucie ran 50 yards to take pictures of him ... if I can figure out how to upload I will.

That sounds ace - Harleys are agricultural *****, but I do have a soft spot for Victorys. I'm deffo up for taking a test ride on one if I get the chance.

A couple of mates have taken a Diavel out and have raved about it. Stupid amounts of power and torque and they reckon they handle well (not up to T / sportsbike standards obviously, but still good). Not the best looking bike but it's growing on me - if I could afford one as a second bike I'd maybe get one.

I sat on a Streetfighter and thought it was the most uncomfortable bike I'd ever sat on. Windy took one out last weekend and hated it - again 'cos it was so uncomfortable. Stunning looking bike though.

Camo man - you were just in awe of him weren't you??

How did you see him lol?

Remember the scene in Predator ... when the errr... predator is in the tree and they can't quite see it?

You have to turn your head ever so slightly and look just beyond where you think it is ....
