only thing missing seems to be an extended brake switch cable
i have just put a set of these on my gen 2 they are same hight as standard at the lowest mount they relocate the master cylinder like Griffs you have to make a bracket for the reservoir bit of scrap and mounted same as Rico's and i bought a banjo brake light switch just crimp the wires to the old switch connector for the money you can't go wrong and now got a back brake I'm getting a service at griffs on monday i see what he thinks then

Cheers s1imster, do have any pics of them fitted? is it possible to utilise the OEM brake switch and just extend the wiring? and finally for someone like myself who is not very good with spanners how easy are the to fit?

You will need a new switch, the OEM uses a micro switch and the new one will need to be a pressure type switch.I put the reservoir onto the hole in the kickplate.and shortened the hose.

you can use the OEM brake switch there is threaded hole for it to fit but i buggered mine trying to undo it so it was cheaper for the banjo switch
they were very easy to fit took about 1 hour you need to grease the joints & thread lock the bolts i have tried to post pics off my phone but they won't load (to big )
& im ***** with computers ,the biggest ball acea was bleeding the back brake you need about four hands

Great buy - I do in excess of 10k per annum and am 6ft 3" tall - looked at other rearsets and then went down to Strike Command Tamworth to see Griff - bought some straight away - easy to fit and designed especially for Aprilias and not 'we make for Aprilias as well'. I now have a back brake that works, better leg room for longer journeys and looks that make Kate Middleton's arse look totally average!

Very well put Rog, by the way the kit comes complete with the brake switch Ash described so no need to source externally. I got great back brakes.

Mine will be in Griffs love cave at the end of the week for its final fettle after 13 weeks off the road.

To be done ...

Rearsets
Lower nose bit
Indicators
Tyres
Service
MOT
Anodised chain adjusters + stainless bolts
The rad cover I couldn't fit due to seized bolt

I must say the tasty assortment of shiny bling I've already added does give me a little bit of a twitch.

Don't think you've really missed much with the dire weather we;ve had so far this summer. Suggest it's about time we had a Crossgates fudd about soonish.

...brake switch is include wi Griffs but ye need tae splice it tae the original wirin as it isnae long enough or hae connectors.

Ah fitted fluid reservoir tae the hanger mount instead o the heel guards so it wiz oot the way o mah muckle size 11. Felt it wid aye catch otherwise.

An if yer back brake still disnae work way way better after fittin then yiv done somethin wrong! Huge difference.

And mak sure ye Loctite ALL the screws (nyloc nuts excepted) as they WILL vibrate loose.

On oor recent TW EuroFestBlast ah nearly lost mah right peg in Holland ( the main pegs screws being only 2 screws ah didnae Loctite as ye dinnae need tae touch them when installin!!!)

Ditto,

Same happened to mine. Worth noting do it before you fit the rear sets as they're a pig to get behind with allen keys once fitted.
