Spent the weekend setting up my suspensions back to factory settings, and it was amazing how simple it really is. I have to thank the expertise of my friendly neighbor "Gixxer Dave" would purely explained what the manual was asking me to do. The fronts are sorted by an Ikea Allen key and a spanner, whilst the rear needed no tools, only because the spring was seized solid (any advice on releasing it?).

stefano, just explain what you mean by spring siezed solid. Do you mean the two locking rings on top of the spring used to adjust the preload are siezed?

Yep, could not budge them. two of us tried, and even used a mallet. Luckily the lenght of the spring was at factory settings. I guess that is what all weather riding does to Italian machinery. They are not used to british salt. The salt in Italy is straight out of our Mediterranean Sea, and we also use it in our pasta...
