Surging at low throttle

As Bay said, my 10 plate T (map 2, Mivv GP cans, 15T front sprocket) is rough as a badger's arse around 3000 rpm, won't hold a steady throttle and surges and judders. I've ridden Bay's and Windy's Gen 1 T's and they are totally smooth at all revs.

I'm hopefully getting Griff to do a service for me in the next month or two so I'll ask him to balance the throttle bodies and see if that helps.

So, final result - I have ordered myself to a different authorised service center than usual and they told me already, that the problem will be just in "software", so they will restart and reload new "firmware", new fuel maps, check the diagnostics and things should be fixed..

wish me good luck on wednesday, will keep you informed ;)

btw my T is running on map1, Mivv Suonos (with buffles on), 15T front sprocket as well..

Hello weejock, you say you are running standard cans with map 2 is this with baffles in or out, as i would like to fit a map 2 with my standard cans (07 Tuono) to get rid of crap fuelling sub 3000...Mick from Leeds.

You getting Map2 Q ?

I don't think any Tuono likes it much below 3k!

Yeah but ride some of the Gen 2's mate and they're as lumpy as a lumpy thing travelling over a lumpy road with flat spots on the tyres

Really? I was cruising along on mine today thinking how smooth it was, looked down and doing exactly 3k.

yes, they will do 1) diagnostics, 2) reload the system (?? don´t know what does that mean, but whatever..), 4) sync the bodies (its made by AXION..) and 4) switch to map2..

hope that this will help.. will let you know..

Be reet mate. As smooth as my belly full to capacity with ale and curry :thumbup

so, finished ;)

result: seems to be much better!

what was done: diagnostics, corrected something called "throttle valve"??, reloaded fuell map - but not via AXION, in Aprilia told me, that the system they are using is new, AXION is not used by official aprilia service centers more than 2 years..

I saw the diagnostics by my own eyes - I am not technically educated, but this wireless bike setup was really cool to see..
