super maxxis

A

aPeMunky

just had a set fitted yesterday
very impressed with 1st ride, profile gives very nice handling, grippy,
i normally carefully wear my tyres in but couldn't help myself and was knee down within 20mins on 1st ride (hot day)
they are not duel compound so will probably square off sooner if i continue to use the M25 for work but at the price i got them its not so bad

£204 for 2x rears and 1x front delivered from here

this is the link the for the touring maxxis, i phoned up for their best price on the super maxxis and they knocked a few quid off the extra rear and delivery
:pirate

anyone know how many miles i can expect from a front/ rear?

i've done about 1500 miles on mine now still looking good although i dont really do motorways if i can help it ...mine were £144 fitted to loose wheels and balanced:thumbup

Sounds like they are a good alternative to the premium brands offerings, I may be tempted once my BT016's wear out.

At that price (£144 fitted) you could change them every 12 months and not bat and eye lid.

i have used maxxis supermaxx on my last 2 bikes, Z750, K4 GSXR and my 03 RSV and i love them. Far better than the diablos i used to use.

really rate them personaly, warm up very quick, great handling

I have had my supermaxx sports on for a couple of weeks now
cant fault them on the road great grip and feedback
cant see me getting anything else in the near future as long as they stay a good price
