Sudden and Complete Clutch Failure

Hello all, first post.

I have a 2004 but old shape RSV Mille with 18000 miles on the clock.

In my time of ownership the clutch has been perfect then last night it was fine at one set of lights and a few hundred yards along the road at the next set nothing, not even a hint of clutch.

There were no noises and the engine still sounds as it should.

I have noticed that the centre of the clutch cover is now moving out when the lever is squeezed. I cannot investigate until the weekend but any ideas on what I am likely to find?

clutch bearing sounds gubbed, ask mad biff he replaced his not long ago,,

hi mate your clutch bearing has gone mate its a 16004 phone this number mate

Thanks both, you were spot on. Bit of a relief as I was pretty worried yesterday.

Pulled it apart this morning and retrieved all the bits including 11 balls!

Its all cleaned up and ready for the bearing I got locally, I'll be back on the road tonight. Result!!

Cheers for the help.
