Stumped on this now????

Alright guys,

I got a pair of R&G barends a wile back (without the allen bolts) and have been trying to fit them again tonight...........something aint right!!!

I have tried inserting the bolts themselves to see why they won't "catch" on the thread inside the bar but it simply doesn't "catch" on anything????? When i push the bolt in, I hit somethingbut when i turn the bolt to screw it in it just turns and turns without drawing itself in???? I had the originals on before so am completely stumped now???

Is it a case of stripping the clipons off and replacing the internals???? Hope not as cant be fecked with that!!!

Andi you have to hold on to the bar ends themselves to stop the whole assembly turning - the bolts don't do up too tight so get some Loctite on them or you might lose one like I did.
Oh, and make sure the two little spigots on the bit that sticks out of the bars are located in the slots in the bar ends.
