It has been proven by trips to Keswick that the only way to solve this conundrum is to put rocks in you luggage.

It's true.

Most bikes I've ridden had a single exhaust can, which is why I usually ride with a couple of bricks duck taped to my opposite boot leg. Adds a bit of weight I must admit, but I can now coast 'no-handed' without leaning to one side to balance the bike... ;) :lol :lol

Seriously, original single Tuono end can is a weighty beast, for anyone who still has one fitted, but if it affected balance significantly manufacturers wouldn't do it. With rider weight plus end can relatively close to center of bike any imbalance is obviously (to most!) insignificant. And if it troubles anyone, get an aftermarket can which is a fraction of the weight of the original.

PS: Hmmm... But imagine what it must have been like swinging a mace on horseback... Must try that on a Tuono sometime... ;)

manufacturers off set the single exhaust by putting the chain and sprockets on the other side, :yes

this made my gen2 with the 2 pipes very 'off balance ' :dunno, an easy fix was to mount the side stand on the opposite side to the sprockets,:thumbup

all even again, simples :cheers

ive also been told you can buy bar ends which are different weights, which would also solve the problem ( I aint tellin who told me )
