Just wondering, despite the relatively roomy riding position of the apes especially the early shape models, these are still not exactly as easy going or comfortable as your average bmw gs or honda vfr (not that that is what i want in my bikes). So thought it would be interesting to find out the age of oldest and youngest rsv rider on here? I am 24 so have some way to go to match the average age i would think! Seriously though, with age comes experience, and its great to have all you old(er!) chaps years of wisdom at your fingertips :)

44 and a half and becoming more like Victor Meldrew every day, only difference is, I do believe it!

I'm 33 and spent 4-5 hours on my first ride out and only had an achy wrist, if I had been on my Fireblade it would of been sore wrists, arse, knees, hips the list goes onand that on a 50-60 min ride out

so I am well happy with mine:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug:doug

31- only had mine two weeks and was without a bike for 6 months before that-have put my mildly aching wrists down to being out of the saddle!

36 in body but big kid the wife says about time i grow up but it will never happen so the only pain i got was the wife:biggrin

53 years old but still to young to give up the bike, although the wife hates it.

29, been on the apes only for a short while. Get achy wrists if on motorways but fine on the twisties.

Well guys, I beat all of you so far. I'm in my 60s and ride my Tuono all year round without problems. Sometimes 400 miles in a day. I have been riding for a few years though. Like some of you, my wife says I'm a big kid. I asked her if she'd like me to grow up and her answer was, "no". Result.

The good thing about motorcycling is that no-one can tell how old you are when you've got your helmet on.:devious
