Right ive had the same problems as Dave.

Running on 1 cylinder ect.

Now we tested the coil ect, and it was dead, new coil came today. same problem, its running on one cylinder..

Bit stuck now.

new coil or secondhand ? if secondhand have you tested it to see if its ok ?

go to my post ( FAULT CODES ) theres some good advice on there, especially usefull is Zippyque's list of fault codes.. If all else fails give Griff a buzz, good luck !!

might sound silly but swap your coils round and see if the problem moves with it if the other cylinder that wasnt running then runs it would suggest the replacement coil is shot if it dont run it might suggest a bad connection or maybe one side of the ecu is down ,,,, with me only just getting one of these bike iam not sure the set up of the ecu some ive seen can do this
one other thing i have noticed with these bike is they seem to hide water in some very strange places mine was still chucking it about 4 days later after getting a piss wet in the rain maybe if youve had it wet you may have got water in a contact somwhere

all just things for you to try maybe you will get lucky fingers crossed

What years yer bike dude? Upto 05 four coils , 2 for each cylinder or 05 onwards a coil pack that serves both cylinders!

I'll help if I can?

Griff

OO the magical Griff :D

Its an 58 Plate Tuono, Its got the moulded coil pack.

Background info:

Rode to a petrol station stopped, filled up payed and when i started back up it was running on 1. limped it home and thats where it sat.

Tested the coils, and the rear coil was dead. Ive ordered another set of coils from eBay, plugged in still in 1.

Ive got one question.. on the coils there marked 4A and 4B, i assume A is for the front and B is for the rear?

Any ideas?

Done the usual fuses ect..

Ive got 12V feed too going to the coils. And when runing on one, you can smell the petroly mix from the exhausts so its not a blocked injector.
