The one I had felt quite flimsy & started weeping oil soon after I fitted it & that was only on a 350 LC, wouldn't trust one on a mille, maybe I was just unlucky.
I have found that if you want a cheap steering damper you can pick up OEM ones off GSXR 600 etc for peanuts & they work well, just need to fabricate some brackets for them. I have them fitted to both my hybrid bikes.
