evening all

right then ive got a y2k rsv with major starting problems ! as in it wont because i think the sprag clutch ?? is ******

so what do you lot recommend ?

as in how much its gonna cost were is the best place to get it done ? (im in derby) that sort of thing
 
aprilia performance in Tamworth.. let Griff sort it

does it sound like a bag of nails when you hit the starter?..

Join the club! Any ideas how much it will cost?.... In my rage I connected a pair of jump leads to my pick-up & held the started for at least 5 second, explosions & all, which I imagine has mangled everything. Maybe a used engine is the way forward?

The sprags are much cheaper then they used to be. (different source) I think Griff qouted something like £300 somewhere on the forum but don't qoute me on it cos i might have remembered wrong. I it is it's a bargain considering the agro it can be if you don't know what your doing or don't have the puller etc.

Plus he can talk for England so you won't get bored or short of Tea/Coffee
 
I'd be happy to part with £300 to get it fixed, probably much safer than buying a dodgy old dog with ******** history off ebay.....
