hi can anyone help i have a 99 rsv1000 and it starts you can rev it then it cuts out u have to turn the key off then back on and it will start again and do the same regards andy

If you have had the battery off you may have the tip over sensor upside down it is arelay that rattles when you shake it and it has UP with an arrow pointing which is near the battery.
I did it once and it will start run for a few seconds and cut out and will not fire again until it is turned off and on again then will do the same until I recified the relay until the correct way.
Just check on that first.
