Hi all,
Hate to start my first post on this forum with a problem but I’m hoping that you guys can point me in the right direction….
I took the datatool System 3 alarm off recently (thank F*ck for that!) on my 2003 Gen1 Mille and when I went to start for the first time, the fuel pump didn’t prime at all. We examined the pump itself which was all ok and power going into the pump fine. After looking at the small two pin alarm plug behind the ECU (near the solenoids) we bridged this connector and if by magic the fuel pump primes. However….
After the fuel pump completes its initial prime, you can hear the relay click and an EFI light throws up on the dash. The fuel pump doesn’t work after this but the engine turns over nicely and the starter motor is clearly doing its job.
Has anyone got any ideas why the fuel pump doesn’t continue to run and therefore feed fuel into the engine?
Thanks in advance
