hi every one im new on this site i just invested in a 55 plate rsv factory its the fist twin ive ever had i allways had jap bikes before anyway can some one help me the one thing i dont like is the side stand the bike dosnt feel safe very wobly is there a mod kit for this problem cheers

This is the one you need, yes straight swap although you need to apply a small blob of weld to stop it coming up and hitting the exhaust.

You just need the stand, which the fixing bracket is welded to. The switch from the Aprilia will fit straight on.
It fit my 06 RSVR so as long as you have the same shape (04>) shoud fit fine. not sure about the older ones.
New ones from Honda are £51.76 plus vat , part number 50530MEL000

Does this mod fit the older versions...? Still panic everytime I leave it somewhere other than than the paddock stand!
hi guys just beeen to local honda dealer its £63.87 all in for stand leg and spring. just been to my local aprilia dealer and they say there is a modifid bracket but dont no where to get them from . they said u can change the stand for a american version but its £142

i paid £24 delivered, i think it was from blacks bike breakers on ebay. just search for cbr 1000rr stand.
