Stand Collapsed This Morning!

Can't believe it, my new bike and my pride and joy (RSV Mille 2002) ended-up on it's side this morning.

Sidestand collapsed while I was warming it up....GUTTED.

Filled-up yesterday on the way home - 2 minutes from my house, I guess the weight of a full tank of fuel was just too much.

Broken mirror.
Broken clutch lever.
Broken indicator.
Scratched fairing and stickers.
Scratched bar end.

I've contacted Gary about a replacement / upgrade.

Anyone got any ideas about the best places for repairs / replacements?

mate best thing to do is place it on the want to buy bit

Do you mean it actually broke, or you hadn't put it down fully :dunno bad luck either way mate gutted for you. I always doulble check mines fully down after hearing so many others had this same problem. Hope you get sorted soon :thumbup

Wow bad bad news . That must have been a real sickener mate . What happened then ?did the bolt break or was it the stand its self?

Bummer, same thing happened to my 01 warming it up, came out to find the sodin thing gaspin for breath on the deck, Insurance company wrote it off. Ended up with a new 04. Good luck with yours.
