Speedo re setting to 0

Hiya guys, I've got and 05" Factory which I love. The only down side is the speedo keeps re-setting to 0 when the leads are disconnected, even for a few seconds. I know there is a lot of clever people out there..please help.:thumbup

When you say speedo , do you mean the clock milage :dunno and are you talking about the battery leads :confused

It's a known fault that some 04 bikes had faulty clocks that Aprilia mostly replaced under warranty. I'm suprised an 05 has the same problem if they are the original clocks but i guess it's possibly from the same batch.

At this point in time there isn't anything you can do other than record your mileage another way (mot's etc) and make sure the batt doesn't go flat and reset it again.

Unless you can get another newer set of clocks that is.

Yep. Clocks keep re setting. Looks like I'll have to suffer this little imperfection. Cheers guys.
