okay I ****** up the upper fron spark plug and patched it with a car plug. Apprerantly the car plug was not a metal cable it was something like carbon. not metal. does the cable need to touch the coil and the plug because I have been getting EFI errors lately and my GF doesn't appreciate her *** almost being thrown out of the bike due to the sudden jerks on the bike with the weather change... I will go to the auto store now and see if I can use a car spark plug I just want to know if I need to touch the spark plug to the sharp nail looking metal in the coil? thanks

Yes it needs to have contact.
Surely someone has a spare plug for you.
Just cut 5m off the cable and refit the plug.
I changed the cable for silicone copper core and used the old plugs.
They still had 5k Ω resistance.
If you can't find one send me a PM and I can send you a plug.

Yes hardcoring... :D

Superyellow you should change your name to super-bodge, you crack me up mate :biggrin

okay I read my posting and I sounded like a su-bodge bob square ***. lol I soldered the original cable (looks like steel core) to the metal end and used another rubber spark cable end from a car to insulate it so I won't blow up the gas tank for my brother OZ- Mille cuz my tank dripped a little so I got mad an ripped off the California Evap crap. lol anyway that TMI so I don't think the solder should change the (Insert Omega here) OHMAGE of the cable however I realized that I have been getting error codes 34 and now 35 and 15! lol ***** why the heck my rear plugs are messed up now I will go ahead and check it out downstairs after I get some sleep since I started feeling lonely again after dosing out on Tylenol with GF in a cheap motel room last night and missing the whole new years deal. I need to get back on the road soon and work my right wrist to get some nookie from my pookie otherwise I will have to take out my entire loom lol ..... lol and lol again

okay so I removed my rear plugs and reinserted them and did the "TEST A" as in the 2000 mille workshop on page 193 for all my coils and all of them read 4.5 Ohms
_()_ ( sorry about the illustration it looks like you know what lol )also noticed on the Diagram on page 231 that the V/GR cables go on the same way on all of them and my right side(front cylinder) Low(er) coil on the left had the Green striped cabled on the bottom and the orange on the up when all the others had the Green Striped on the top. so after removing, reconnecting and wiggling the rear spark cables and refixing the polarity on the Front cylinder coil(Left side of the bike, rear/lower coil) the bike ran without any codes thru the three gears! yay! well the neighbours kids freaked out a lil bit lol anyway and their dad didn't probably appreciate the loud noise of my beast so I will run my bike again and my Codes 15( I have no idea why this showed up though) 35 and 36 didn't come up. I will come back to confirm this please keep this for future refence. It might help another pirate! :pirate
