Ok, was thinking about May's meet. Being Godstone was a good meeting point for most it was too close to home for some. So what about The Bull Inn, Linton, near Maidstone www.thebullatlinton.co.uk
Decent pub with a big garden, views, ale & grub. Is localish to me but happy to do a loop through the Garden of England via Rye to get my fix before hand. Decent roads their & back from all directions assuming you avoid the motorways.
If too far to attract riders from further a field, you got The White Hart, Brasted, Westerham www.whitehartbrasted.co.uk Again, nice pub but not that far from Godstone!
Over to you guys to chew the fat on this one. Once we have a majority verdict I'll start the thread for the next meet. Had 10 riders turn up for the first one, be nice to have more for this one :thumbup
They are both about an hour from me, but would prefer Maidstone or Godstone, as Waterham would mean the A21 which I use everyday for work, so would prefer a different route.
Can also meet up at Rye for a ride up if your doing a circle...
Had some feedback on the other forums & came to the conclusion of Godstone worked well & if it's not broke don't fix it?
Keeping the same location & time of the month means people get used to it & will work around / come to expect the meet. God sounds like working around the missus PMT, lol. Well that's the plan anyway!
