Some thing is killing my battery

Hello guys changed my battery 2 weeks ago and spark plug and air filter on my 05 plate factory
Just been in the garage And the bike woz making a clicking noise with no key in it my optimizer woz reading 12 volts so i got the key turned in on and it totally drained in with in seconds
Left in on charge with it dissconected from the bike for a few hours put it back on the bike turned ignition bk on drained straight away
Any ideas jamie
 
Has it got an alarm ?

When you say changed the battery ?, for a new one that was properly charged ?

what are you charging it with ?
 
Hi its got a meta 357 i think and its got a oxford optimizer 900 and battery is a gel yuasa it fired up last week no problem
And as i sed it was making a weired noise with out keys in it

check that the battery leads are tight ,especialy the earth...
 
Battery fully charged just tryed starting it and the starterr soleniod just clicking and draining the battery
 
Been reading a few things amd cud be starter soleniod so iv just ordered one i hope its that
 
So whats the voltage reading with it running ?, also the solenoid could be intermittent, you can always short across its terminals with a stout screw driver to test it.
 
Beetween high 13v to low 14v bud iv ordered a new soleniod just incase it does it again
