Got a 06 Blade side stand complete with switch up for grabs. Asking £25.00 + p&p. Practically brand new, marked on foot where it's been on ground, other than that excellent condition.

I've got one of Gary's on mine, quality not a problem it fitted in about 10 mins works perfectly. Did have to chase him a couple of times to get it posted tho....good bloke like everyone said refunded my P&P because of the wait. I did try a 06 blade one, now that was b'stard to get to fit, gave up in the end its still in my "I must put that on ebay luv " pile in the garage...:banghead

Any stand is a huge improvement over the Euopean OE.

But I can't understand why isn't anyone just buying the US version?
It's a direct Aprilia replacement, stronger/longer/correct lean angle/switch just fits perfectly & plugs in...and it just drops in...
Apparently certain U.States have laws that say the sidestand/kickstand must be able to support rider+bike+passenger...so made to do the job.

There are loads about if you care to search...US bike breakers/ebay/ape forums etc..

It took me 15mins to find one on US ebay...and 15mins to fit....delivered for £65 incl switch....perfect
I put my old Euro one up on ebay...made £25
Net cost £40....job's a good'un :thumbup

Am I right to assume that the 04-09 rsvr sidestand will fit the 2nd gen Tuono ?
thanks,
Tim

Exactly what i thought Tifa, i wanted something that i could bolt on and know would work so i ordered a US Tuono stand last night, with switch, from evilbay.com for£61 delivered.
A bit more i know but hopefully it's a direct replacement with no naffing about.

Just need my swingarm bobbins to turn up so i can fit it.

Smiffy

Re Irving's post.

Yep but you still have the same issue. I've got a Bubsy and its fine. You deffinately need to change the stand if you think you might fit a tail pack.

Thanks Nob,
I've already fitted a Ventura rack so that is one concern, the other is that i'm travelling to Tasmania for a week before WSBK at Phillip Island and the thought of it going over on the ferry worries me a bit.
I've found a US spec RSVR one so that should do the trick.
Cheers,
Tim

Keep it in gear and make sure if they lash it down you've got something under whatever they use. I've seen some right scars left by rubbing strops on ferries. Jacket, glove anything.

yes, i'd have thought so...but if you're buying one, make sure it's a US version, otherwise, it'll just be same old/same old....
