T.F.I friday, just need some sunshine now :)

Im gonna be fitting the side stand Bubsyboo (gary) sell's on here this weekend, does anyone know if the side stand bolt has a torque setting?

also fitting my new titanum exhaust this afternoon.............cant wait to test it later....Baffle in of course.............Yeah right!!! :)

Don't know the torque setting but it has a 17mm 'nylock' on the back anyway so i shouldn't think the bolt needs tightening too much.

Just got mine from gary, great piece of kit, fits well, feels more stable now

pc problems

Still waiting for mine.........:dunno..:confused......:roll

I think he had pc probs a few days ago, ring him and remind him to check if your paypal payment arrived, when i did this he checked it that day and posted it out to me the following morning:thumbup

Fitted mine saturday, no need for torque settings, all the bolts kinda lock into each other, Very clean instructions from gary and a quality stand too.

would recomend to anyone :) :)

Also the bit that sticks out so u can put the stand down is no longer in the same place as the gear change, on the stand ive got it very easy to get to.

Would somebody be able to give me some details of this mod:
contact details, price, photos.

Looking to buy ASAP

Thanks
Joe

I would also like to change my stand my bike almost stands upright and i dont like it, if some one could post some details for me that would be great. thanks Rich.

Its not only that the bike stands too upright, the stand is too close to the bike

You can mod the original stand if you have access to a welder

Just cut a 5mm notch out of the side of the stand [not all the way through] and weld it back up

OH ****! I thought the problem with the standar stand is that it is not long enough therefore it leans over too much.

Please can somebody confirm

Yeah I got the same problem, mine leans over too much but there's not much room to lengthen the stand when it's retracted. Only about 10mm between the foot of the stand and the fairing.

These bikes seem to have all sorts of stand problems. Mine is nearly upright when it's on the stand. It could do with being shorter if anything anyone else have this problem or is it just me????? Any good ideas for sorting it out would be sweet.

hello, sorry been a while on here, im a fair weather rider!!! n the sun is back!

The side stand i got was from bubsywoo, search him name on here, he may be on some other aprilia forums too.

He had them made and i think they were around the £50 mark.

Well worth the money!
