Hey all,
Whats all this I read about a side stand swap from RSV to a gixxer thous stand?:confused

Is it alot better/stable or something?
And is it just a straight forward swap onto my 2000 model?
Its the one thing that gets to me about the bike...it could tip over so easy:uhoh
Near all my other bikes had centre stands..which look bad, but are very very handy:thumbup

onderGo to search bar type in side stand fix, Scroll down to sidestand fix, by bigbadmad, then scrolldown to number 23, all the details here, spoonz has a step by step guide on how to, it is spot on.
If I can do it anyone can.

new sidestand

OK folks here's the deal...

You can either modify a sidestand from another bike i.e. a gixer OR get a direct replacement from me takes 10 mins to fit !!!

New batch of sidestands arriving this week from the engineering shop...so they've said !!!

They are £45 plus £4 postage etc...

I apologise to the moderator but I did get asked how much !!!

are they pre painted, if so black. do you have to order special clours if required, such as red. just asking.
